FOR CHINESE LEVEL I ABSENT STUDENTS - copy down the reviewed words onto your notes,watch the video for comprehension and then show the teacher when you come in; plus, copy down the sentences with the blank/lines, and please fill in the blank to create a story and then show the teacher when you come in.
Today students first copied down the following sentences with blanks first.

After done copying, students were given 10 minutes to fill in the blanks to create a story. Later we had students raise their hands and told us their answers in the blanks. After we generated a story on the whiteboard as a whole class, we translated the story, using TPRS circling questions to made sure everyone understand the story. We repeated this for 3 times and then students were asked to re-write their story again. Finally we discussed the questions and corrected the answered on the test paper.
We generated several fun stories together as a whole class and some students also created their fun stories.
