一月二十九日星期二 - January 29, Tuesday - A Day

FOR CHINESE LEVEL I ABSENT STUDENTS - copy down the reviewed words onto your notes and then show the teacher when you come in; plus, please create a story with at least 100 words and then show the teacher when you come in.
FOR CHINESE LEVEL II & III ABSENT STUDENTS - CONTINUED MAKING YOUR ANIMAL BOOK based on the rubric on the journal blog on JANUARY 25 - A DAY. If you haven't been here for a while, please check the previous date's journal blog to know what we did in class and continued the assignment.

For Chinese Level I, today we first reviewed the words we learned the last two days and then students write a 100 word story. 15pts in total; above 100+ 15pts; 90-99 14pts; 80-89 12pts; 70-79 10pts; 60-69 8pts; 50-59 6pts; 40-49 4pts; lower 40- 2pts. After the 30-40 minutes writing, we corrected the test answers which I will post online the answers on video soon.

For Chinese Level II & III students, today we quickly reviewed the words and gave them time to complete their animal book. Several students had done their books and showed me theirs. I discussed with them the mistakes they made in the books and then they went back to fix it. Students were told that their books will be returned once I read and would talk to them for correction. I will ask my T.A. in the future to scan the books online so that every student may see their work.
