一月十五日星期二 January 15, Tuesday - A Day

For Chinese Level II and III students, we first worked on the structures as the followings
好久不見?hǎo jiǔ bù jiàn ? = Long time no see
過得怎麼樣?guò dé zěn me yàng ? = How've you been?
最近忙不忙?zuì jìn máng bù máng ? = Have you been busy recently? (literately) 
你在忙什麼?nǐ zài máng shí me ? = What's up? What have you been busy with? (literately)
幫鄰居搬家?bāng lín jū bān jiā ? = Help (my) neighbor move. 

We used PQA to practice these conversation and structures. After that, students practiced on their own by finding 3 people and respond to one another the questions. Next we watched the video clip  'Magic Chinese Vol 2." generated by BetterChinese.com about Chinese characters and worked on these words.
For Chinese Level II and III, we only watched the following words -
xué = learn

tīng = listen
huà  = draw
mǎi = buy
bǐ = compare
zǒu = walk
zuò = sit 

For Chinese Level I students,
We watched the video clips, talked about the characters and stroke order and students practiced these words.
wǒ = I
shǒu  = hand
zú = foot
ěr = ear
yá = teeth
zǐ = son
hǎo = good, well
jiā = clamp
yǒu = friend
měi = beautiful
bǐ = compare, race
mǎi = buy
