Since we've done some informal assessments in class to check how much students are familiar with these animals and it is found that there are less than 70% of students who are familiar with 80%of these animals, we continue to review all the words until more than 80% of students are able to recognize the English meaning of these animals with 80% of accuracy. Today as usual we reviewed the animals with TPR and then we practiced these animals with small whiteboards. Next we introduced the short story with TPRS circling questions. The last 30 minutes students were given a ipad or a laptop to search 10 facts about Chinese New Year Legends.
