 tiào = jump
 pǎo = run
睡覺shuì jiào = sleep
游泳yóu yǒng = swim/swimming
 pá = climb, crawl
lā = pull
 fēi = fly
推 tuī  = push
hui = (be) able to, know how
#1, we reviewed the animals words as usual and then we introduced the new words with TPR.
#2, we used PQA to practice these words such as,
 "Tony, nǐ huì bù huì yóu yǒng?"
          你會不會游泳
we found out only 三人不會游泳 in 5th period and only 五人不會游泳 in 6th period.

Activities:
#3, For 5th period,
a) each student was given a piece of lined-paper and assigned a number according to their row. For example, 1st row- Student A-#1, Student B-#2, Student C-#3...etc, 2nd row, - Student G-#1, Student H-#2, Student I-#3..... Each student write the assigned number on their paper.

b) Students were asked to write a sentence with animals and the verbs first and then pass it to the next person. The next person had to translate the sentence into English first on the paper and then wrote his/her own sentence and then pass it down again to the next person. Repeat the steps until 5 minutes is up.

c) Students were pairs up and then in the pair Student A read Student B a sentence written on the paper and Student B had to translate it into English. And then Student B read Student A a sentence and Student A had to translate it into English. Continue until all the sentence on the paper were read.
