Chinese Level I October 28, 2014 Tuesday

We first did the quiz and then we used TPR to review and introduced the words. We watched a powerpoint and use TPRStorytelling circling questions. 15-20 minutes before the class ended we introduced the stroke orders.We used the powerpoint to show the story and with TPRStorytelling circling questions and chorally response students comprehended the story. At the end they were asked to rewrite the story.

1.  (xiè)(xiè) = thank you
2.  ()()() = you’re welcome
3.  (hǎo)(ma)= yes or not? Okay or not okay? Would you please…?
4.  (gěi) = to give
5.  (dūn)= to squat
6.  (zuò) = to sit
7.  (zài)()(shàng) = on the floor
8.  (zài)()(zi)(shàng) = on the chair
