九月十日星期二 September 10, Tuesday - A Day

For Chinese Level II & III, we first introduced the words on the board. And then we discussed the bargain culture in Chinese society. You may also read the article named "How to Bargain in Asia" to understand better the tips to bargain in China, Taiwan, and/or other Asian countries. Next, we practiced how to bargain.
1. students were given back their clothes design that they drew last time in class.
2. students were asked to sell the product of their design.
3. Before they sold their design, they had to set up their
定價dìng jià (tag price) and their  底價dǐ jià (bottom price) for the buyers to 殺價shā jià (cut the price).
4. Role-play: Students worked as pairs. One is the owner and the other is buyer. The buyer started the conversation with wǒ yào mǎi
                             我    要 買  .......
duōshǎo qián
多   少     錢    ?

5. After 1st round, we used PQA to figure out who made a good deal and didn't.  we switched the roles and practice again.
