April 9, Monday 四月九日星期一 - B day

Today Gage M. came up to the classroom and did his presentation. He did a great job. Briant tried to do his but since he forgot how to say what he likes and what he doesn't like, he decided to re-do it next time.

After the calendar introduction, we quickly use PQA to introduce the word 越yuè 來lái 越yuè ....and had students choose "誰shéi 越yuè 來lái 越yuè...?" For example, Gage 越yuè 來lái 越yuè 聰cōng 明míng; Matthew 越yuè 來lái 越yuè 懶lǎn 惰duò; Jasmin 越yuè 來lái 越yuè 準zhǔn 時shí; Dayln 越yuè 來lái 越yuè 遲chí 到dào; Alozao越yuè 來lái 越yuè 乾gan 淨jìng, etc.

Next each student received a package of flashcards of the words we've learned for the past 2 weeks and a full story about the lazy boy Mermaidman who wants to be healthy and strong. 懶惰的男孩想要體格健壯. Students worked as a group of three and translated the story for the first 3 -4 paragraphs.

Last we used TPRS cycling questions to help students' listening, speaking and comprehension.
