Today for 1st period student Jarem S. came up to do the calendar introduction while 2nd period Elias and Sam came up to do it. 3rd period students Jose and Daniel do the introduction of calendar. After the calendar introduction, we introduced the following new words -
提tí 醒xǐng = remind
效xiào 果guǒ = effect
反fǎn 效xiào 果guǒ =mal-effect, de-ffect
老lǎo 兄xiōng = bro, man, dude
We also reviewed the following words
越yuè 來lái 越yuè ...= getting more and more

結jiē 果guǒ = as a result

1st period students were asked to take turn to read sentence by sentence, did the time-read and write words on the whiteboard to have their partner to tell what the word is and what it means. 2nd period students were asked to read through the story on their own and highlighted the words/phrases they didn't understand. 3rd period students were asked to cut the flashcards off and raised up the correct flashcard according to the word the teacher said. Af the very beginning of the 3rd period we were a little off track; talking about making-up/ comsmetics. The reason we mentioned that part because we used the comsmetics to explain the words - 效xiào 果guǒ = effect反fǎn 效xiào 果guǒ =mal-effect, de-ffect.
