Today we learned some words such as
看 kàn = look, watch
書shū = book
看書kàn shū = read
寫xiě = write
字zì = word/character
寫字xiě zì = write (word/character)
高興gāo xìng = happy, glad
指一指zhǐ yī zhǐ = point at
用yòng = use
拿ná = take
剪jiǎn = cut (with scisscors)
刀dāo = knife
剪刀 jiǎn dāo = scisscors
First, we used TPR/ASL to introduce the new words. After that we used whiteboard activities to practices these words. Next, we acted out a story with these words. Last, the students who haven't introduce their family in Chinese came up to the front and did the presentation.
yǒu yī gè nǚ hái zuò zài yǐ zǐ shàng kàn shū
有 一個女 孩 坐在椅子上 看 書
yī gè nán hái kuài kuài pǎo dào nǚ hái nà lǐ
一個男 孩 快 快 跑 到 女孩那裡
nán hái shuō :nǐ gěi wǒ shū hǎo ma ?
男 孩 說: 你給 我 書 好 嗎?
nǚ hái shuō :bú yào
女孩 說: 不要
nán hái ná nǚ hái de shū pǎo le
男 孩 拿女 孩 的書 跑了
nǚ hái bú gāo xìng
女 孩不 高 興
nǚ hái ná jiǎn dāo jiǎn nán hái de tóu fà
女 孩 拿剪 刀 剪 男 孩 的頭髮
