今天我們中文一首先教了一些打招呼的用語
Today we Chinese Level I learned some greetings words as the following:
nǐ hǎo
你 好 = Hello
nǐ hǎo mɑ
你 好 嗎 ?= How are you doing?
hěn hǎo

很 好 = Very good
huán kě yǐ

還  可 以 = It's okay
mǎ mǎ hǔ hǔ

馬 馬虎 虎 = So-so
bù hǎo
不 好  = not good


活動Activities
#1, Copy down the words on the board,
#2, Introduce the words with TPR,
#3, Group and pair conversation practice
#4, Act-out the story
#5, Read aloud the story through the powerpoint plus with TPRS questions
#6, Copy down the story
#7, Time-reading (Students read as pairs; Partner One read aloud to Partner B for 1.5 min and then Partner B read aloud to Partner A for 1.5 min. And then they read to one another for 1min, for 30 seconds, for 15 seconds and they were challenged to read the story in 5 seconds. Only two students reach the goal but more than 80%  of the students can be done reading within 7 seconds)

今天中文二和中文三的活動如下
Today What Chinese Level II and III students did is as the followings:
#1, Read the sentences with the powerpoint,
#2, TPRS cycling questions
#3, Time reading
      Students read as pairs; Partner One read aloud to Partner B for 1 min and then Partner B read aloud to Partner A for 1min. And then they read to one another for 30 seconds and they were challenged to read the story in 15 seconds.
#4, Time-writing.
     After students were done time reading, we did time-writing. Students were given 20 minutes to write a story with the following words -
shǒu xiān
首  先 = First, At first, the first one
rán hòu

然 後 = (and) then
jiē xià lái

接下來 = Next, next one
zuì hòu

最 後 = At last, Finally, the last one
zhōng yū

終 於 = Finally, At last
#5, Set up Ipads and try some Chinese apps!

The critieria for the time-writing are
#1. at least 16 sentences
#2, around 200 words
#3, write in pinyin but Chinese characters are extra points
#4, includes the words mentioned above
