First we reviewed the old words and introduced the new words with PQA. Next we used individual whiteboards to practice the words such as ...

After the whiteboard activity we watched the 1st slide of a powerpoint about 小賈斯汀。We used TPRStorytelling circling questions and had students choral response for the answers.

For Chinese Level I students, we first reviewed the old words,
我wǒ = I
你nǐ = you

誰?sheí ? = who?
我是....wǒ shì ....= I am....
你是誰?..nǐ shì sheí ?..= Who are you?
你好nǐ hǎo  = hello

and then we introduced the new words.
你好嗎? nǐ hǎo ma ? = How are you?
很好hěn hǎo = I am very good.
不好bú hǎo = I am not good.
馬馬虎虎mǎ mǎ hǔ hǔ = so-so
還可以。hái kě yǐ = It's okay. I'm okay.
Again we tossed the ball first to practice the conversation. The first student of each row asked the 2nd student 你好嗎? and the second student answered 很好/不好/馬馬虎虎/還可以。And then we played bingo game.
1. the teacher distribute a A4 paper to each student.
2. have the student fold this A4 paper into half in a "hamburger" way.
3. have the student draw 2x2 lines on the 1st side of the folded paper like tic-tac 9 boxes.
4. have the students to ask 9 students 你是誰?and then你好嗎? (6 minutes)
5. when the students were done the conversation, toss the ball to a student and ask 你是誰?and then你好嗎? Any student on their paper who has the name the teacher tossed the ball and asked the questions may cross out the name.
6. Continue to toss the ball randomly and ask students the questions until the students who has one line crossed out says "賓果"。
We repeated the game until the paper is filled out. (4 times)
