Students were given about 7 minutes to work on the vocabulary package without looking at their notes. They wrote the English meanings to the Chinese words. After 7 minutes, students were given 10 minutes to work on the package with their notes. Next, they found a friend in class and discussed the English. They were not allowed to talk and asked in English but in Chinese with “....的英文怎麽說？” After 7 minutes or so, students may raise their hands and asked the teacher about the words that they didn't know or couldn't find its English meaning.
Homework - students were asked to make 20 sentences with the words they are not familiar with.
