We first worked on the textbook to finish the exercises from 1-6 (page 30-46). Afterwards, we worked on creating a storybook.

BASIC INFO ABOUT FIELD TRIP TO SALT LAKE CHINA TOWN....

We are planning to celebrate Chinese New Year in Salt Lake China Town on Feb 8.
The details will be updated later.
We, Chinese Level 1, 2, & 3 students (4^th, 6^th, 7^th and 8^th periods), are going on a field trip to Salt Lake China Town to celebrate Chinese New year on Monday, February 8 (B Day), which locates at 2270 South State Street, Salt Lake City. Students are expected to experience in the market there what an authentic Chinese market is like, and the varieties of Chinese vegetables, fruit, and food. After visiting the market we will have lunch at Hot Dynasty restaurant next to it to experience authentic Chinese food. The fee for the field trip will be updated soon.

We will be getting together at the Commons at 10:10am., board on the school bus at 10:15am and leave at 10:20am.  We will be back to school by 2:00pm.  The permission slip shall be turned in by January 21, Friday with the receipt.  It is not accepted later than the date January 29, Friday.

Be aware that this field trip will affect your 6^th, 7^th and partial 8^th period’s classes. You have the responsibility to make up the missing assignments or tasks in these classes.
