Today we first reviewed the words

找zhǎo = look for

找zhǎo 到dào = found

找zhǎo 不bú 到dào = cannot find

找zhǎo 來lái 找zhǎo 去qù = look for everywhere

買mǎi = buy

賣mài = sell

不bù 知zhī 道dào = don't know

商shāng 店diàn = store

帽mào 子zǐ = hat

澳ào 大dà 利lì 亞yà = Australia

冬dōng 天tiān = winter

很hěn 冷lěng = very cold

住zhù 在zài = live in

And then we told the following story with TPRStory cyling questions about

有yǒu 一yī 個gè 女nǚ 孩hái

她tā 的de 名míng 字zì 叫jiào Jill　

Jill是shì 澳ào 大dà 利lì 亞yà 人rén

現xiàn 在zài 她tā 住zhù 在zài 中zhōng 國guó

Jill沒méi 有yǒu 帽mào 子zǐ

她tā 去qù 商shāng 店diàn 買mǎi 帽mào 子zǐ

可kě 是shì 她tā 不bù 知zhī 道dào 帽mào 子zǐ 中zhōng 文wén 怎zěn 麼me 說shuō

Jill找zhǎo 帽mào 子zǐ

她tā 找zhǎo 來lái 找zhǎo 去qù

可kě 是shì 她tā 找zhǎo 不bú 到dào 帽mào 子zǐ

After that instead of using the whiteboard, we used a piece of paper to practice the words with sentences.

40 minutes before the class dismissed, students were asked to read the article about China's primitive society and pottery and write 10 facts with 180 words reflective essay.

May 4th Friday -五月四日星期五 - A Day

I was absent today due to personal leave and the sub took care of the classess today. What students did today was #1, read an article about China's primitive society and pottery, #2, write down 15 facts in total and 300 words essay. #3, the essay had to be turned in at the end of class.

May 3rd, Thursday 五月三日星期四 - B Day

Today we learned the new words

帽mào 子zǐ = hat

褲kù 子zǐ = pants

裙qún 子zǐ = skirts

上shàng 衣yī = shirts

買mǎi = (to) buy

賣mài = (to) sell

找zhǎo = (to) look for

找zhǎo 到dào = (to) found

找zhǎo 不bú 到dào = cannot find

很hěn 冷lěng = (be) very cold

很hěn 熱rè = (be) very hot

Instead of using whiteboards we used a piece of blank paper and folded it into 8 boxes. We practiced these new words with sentences. For example,

猶yóu 他tā 冬dōng 天tiān 很hěn 冷lěng = Utah's winter is very cold.

猶yóu 他tā 夏xià 天tiān 很hěn 熱rè = Utah's summer is very hot.

Gage不bù 穿chuān 褲kù 子zǐ = Gage doesn't wear pants.

Gage不bù 喜xǐ 歡huān 裙qún 子zǐ = Gage doesn't like skirt.

We also played game to practice the words.
At the last 10 mimutes we worked on the dictionary form P#1.
