Chinese Level I 4th period August 24, 2015 Monday A Day

We used TPR to introduce the following words; helping students to introduce themselves in Chinese with 我叫....。 We made a name card; introduced ourselves in Chinese; played bingo. At the last 25 minutes we introduced the disclosure. 4th period students were fantastic today; they performed much better than I thought. They did a great job.

我(wǒ)叫(jiào)…  I am called

你(nǐ)叫(jiào)… you are called

什(shén)么(me) what?

名(míng)字(zì)  name

男(nán)孩(hái) boy

女(nǚ)孩(hái) girl

你(nǐ)叫(jiào)什(shén)么(me)名(míng)字(zì)？what is your name?

你(nǐ)是(shì)男(nán)孩(hái)还(hái)是(shì)女(nǚ)孩(hái)？are you a boy or a girl?
