Chinese Level III November 4, 2014 Tuesday

We worked the new words and a new story. We talked about the differences between discounts in China and in America. For example when we say [da ba zhe] which means 80% of the whole price in China and it means 20% OFF in the U.S. When we say [da san zhe], which means 30% of whole price and it means 70% OFF in the U.S. After the discussion, students were given a story to work on translation and answering the questions in groups. At the end we worked as a whole class.
