We practiced with PQA questions and TPRStorytelling circling questions. And then we made flashcards with these words. Next, we played a game with these flashcards to practice their English meaning, and their pronunciation. Last we did the quiz.
For Chinese Level II & III, we learned the following words.
洋裝 = dress
西裝 = western -style suit
和服 = (Japanese) kimono
多少錢? = how much money?
怎麽樣? = how? /how about?
And then we cut the flashcards off about the weather and we played game about the weather.
First,
1) group students of 4 the dealer issued the card and said it in Chinese and the other students in the group said it in English.
2) The fastest student who said the meaning correctly earn 1 point.
3) And the dealer recorded the points. Time 2 minutes.
4) When the 2 minutes is up, switch to the 2nd person in the group to be the dealer and recorder who need to say the word in Chinese, and the other say them in English.
5) After each member of the group has done being the dealer; then start over again but this time the dealer says the words in English and others say them in Chinese.
6) Repeat the steps until all the group members has been the dealer.
7) After each member of the group has done being the dealer in Chinese, then start over again but this time the dealer needs to ask questions, and the other students answer the questions with the words in the cards.
