Students first copied down the words from the boards and then they used the ipad/cell phone to check and look up the new words' English meaning. And then we talked about the cultural concepts in the story. We used TPRStorytelling circling questions, PQA. We worked as a whole class and in pairs.
一天早上,一个学生看到他的老师,他快快走到老师那里, 他鞠躬,对老师说:「老师早上好!」
老师点点头,也说,「小美同学早上好!好久不见,最近怎么样?」
小美同学说:「最近还不错。老师,您呢?您最近怎么样?」
老师用手指指一指他的头发说:「最近还可以,就是一头白发。老了。」
小美同学指一指老师的白发说:「哪有!虽然老师您有一头白发,可是老师看起来还是很年轻。」
