Chinese Level III December 9, 2014 Tuesday

We quizzed and learned new words with ASL Savvy. Students were paired up to test one another by doing the gesture and the other said them in Chinese up to 2 minutes and then we switched the partner and did the same activity. Next time 2 minutes, student A said it in Chinese and students B said it in English, and then took the turn. Later, each pair students were given an ipad and they had to take turn to write Chinese characters with English meaning by listening what the teacher said. After that, student A wrote in Chinese character without letting his/her partner see and then show it to his/her partner once done writing, the partner had to write in English meaning right away. And then we took turn. Later we continued the story we worked on last time. After that, we used TPRStorytelling circling questions about the story.
