The
US-China Strong organizations is once again recruiting students who want to act
as ambassadors. Many of you had students who participated last year.
Just
like last year they are recruiting students who can encourage others to learn
Mandarin and learn about China. Students are expected to share their story on
social media and complete projects such as start a Chinese Language Club or
host a Chinese Culture Night. Students can design their own projects to
get the word out about learning Mandarin.
There
are benefits for students such as participating in professional development
webinars, receiving invitations to high-profile US-China relations events,
putting on their resume that they were a US-China Strong Student Ambassador,
and receiving a letter of recommendation from the foundation CEO.
This should be for mature students who are self-motivated.
I need to submit a list of interested students to the
organization by September 16th, so please let me know by the 15th if you have
any interested students.
I've attached an explanatory guide to this email that you
can share with students and parents.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and I hope to
hear from you by the 15th of September.
