We first reviewed the words with TPR and then learned the new words. We practiced the old and new words with the whiteboard activity and played bingo games to be familiar with them. Students were asked to created sentences with these words to cross out the words on their bingo games.
we acted out the following story. The teacher said the story and each student acted out and then the teacher did the motion and the the students said it in Chinese. Students were given a copy of the story to read as group and draw 8 pictures to the story to present their comprehension.

有三隻小豬。 這是豬大哥。這是豬二哥。這是豬小弟。三隻小豬住在一棟房子裏面。
一天,豬小弟想要吃冰淇淋, 可是他不會做冰淇淋。他在廚房裏哭了。
豬大哥看到豬小弟哭了,他問豬小弟:『怎麽了?你需要人幫忙嗎?』
豬小弟說:『我想要吃冰淇淋,可是我不會做冰淇淋。我需要人幫我做冰淇淋。你可以幫我做冰淇淋嗎?』
豬大哥問:『你想要吃什麽口味的冰淇淋?』
豬小弟說:『我想要吃香草口味的冰淇淋。』
豬二哥看到豬大哥和豬小弟在廚房裏説話。
他問豬大哥:『怎麽了?你們需要人幫忙嗎?』
豬大哥說:『豬小弟想要吃冰淇淋,可是他不會做冰淇淋。他想要吃香草口味的冰淇淋。我要幫他做香草口味的冰淇淋。』
豬二哥說:『我也想要吃冰淇淋。你可以幫我做冰淇淋嗎?』
豬大哥問:『你想要吃什麽口味的冰淇淋?』
豬二哥說:『我想要吃巧克力口味的冰淇淋。』
豬大哥說:『好!我幫忙你們做香草口味和巧克力口味的冰淇淋。』
豬小弟問豬大哥:『你喜歡吃什麽口味的冰淇淋?』
豬大哥說:『說實話,我不喜歡冰淇淋。』
