We first reviewed the words with TPR and then learned the new words. We practiced the old and new words with the whiteboard activity and played bingo games to be familiar with them. Students were asked to created sentences with these words to cross out the words on their bingo games.

we acted out the following story. The teacher said the story and each student acted out and then the teacher did the motion and the the students said it in Chinese. Students were given a copy of the story to read as group and draw 8 pictures to the story to present their comprehension.

海(hǎi)水(shuǐ) = sea water

海(hǎi)灘(tān) = beach

身(shēn)上(shàng)都(dōu)是(shì) = …..all over the body

會(huì) = be able to/knows how

有(yǒu)三(sān)隻(zhī)小(xiǎo)豬(zhū)。 這(zhè)是(shì)豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)。這(zhè)是(shì)豬(zhū)二(èr)哥(gē)。這(zhè)是(shì)豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)。三(sān)隻(zhī)小(xiǎo)豬(zhū)住(zhù)在(zài)一(yí)棟(dòng)房(fáng)子(zi)裏(lǐ)面(miàn)。

一(yì)天(tiān)，豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)， 可(kě)是(shì)他(tā)不(bú)會(huì)做(zuò)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。他(tā)在(zài)廚(chú)房(fáng)裏(lǐ)哭(kū)了(le)。

豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)看(kàn)到(dào)豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)哭(kū)了(le)，他(tā)問(wèn)豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)：『怎(zěn)麽(me)了(le)？你(nǐ)需(xū)要(yào)人(rén)幫(bāng)忙(máng)嗎(ma)？』

豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)說(shuō)：『我(wǒ)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)，可(kě)是(shì)我(wǒ)不(bú)會(huì)做(zuò)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。我(wǒ)需(xū)要(yào)人(rén)幫(bāng)我(wǒ)做(zuò)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。你(nǐ)可(kě)以(yǐ)幫(bāng)我(wǒ)做(zuò)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)嗎(ma)？』

豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)問(wèn)：『你(nǐ)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)什(shén)麽(me)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)？』

豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)說(shuō)：『我(wǒ)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)香(xiāng)草(cǎo)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。』

豬(zhū)二(èr)哥(gē)看(kàn)到(dào)豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)和(hé)豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)在(zài)廚(chú)房(fáng)裏(lǐ)説(shuō)話(huà)。

他(tā)問(wèn)豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)：『怎(zěn)麽(me)了(le)？你(nǐ)們(men)需(xū)要(yào)人(rén)幫(bāng)忙(máng)嗎(ma)？』

豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)說(shuō)：『豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)，可(kě)是(shì)他(tā)不(bú)會(huì)做(zuò)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。他(tā)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)香(xiāng)草(cǎo)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。我(wǒ)要(yào)幫(bāng)他(tā)做(zuò)香(xiāng)草(cǎo)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。』

豬(zhū)二(èr)哥(gē)說(shuō)：『我(wǒ)也(yě)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。你(nǐ)可(kě)以(yǐ)幫(bāng)我(wǒ)做(zuò)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)嗎(ma)？』

豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)問(wèn)：『你(nǐ)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)什(shén)麽(me)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)？』

豬(zhū)二(èr)哥(gē)說(shuō)：『我(wǒ)想(xiǎng)要(yào)吃(chī)巧(qiǎo)克(kè)力(lì)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。』

豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)說(shuō)：『好(hǎo)！我(wǒ)幫(bāng)忙(máng)你(nǐ)們(men)做(zuò)香(xiāng)草(cǎo)口(kǒu)味(wèi)和(hé)巧(qiǎo)克(kè)力(lì)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。』

豬(zhū)小(xiǎo)弟(dì)問(wèn)豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)：『你(nǐ)喜(xǐ)歡(huan)吃(chī)什(shén)麽(me)口(kǒu)味(wèi)的(de)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)？』

豬(zhū)大(dà)哥(gē)說(shuō)：『說(shuō)實(shí)話(huà)，我(wǒ)不(bù)喜(xǐ)歡(huan)冰(bīng)淇(qí)淋(lín)。』
