Today 1st and 2nd periods we learned the following words - 想要、認識、告訴、請、地道、飛機場、....的時候、不好意思。After the introduction to the new words, students were asked to pick up the pictures according to what they heard. They also read the pictures and tell the story. After that, we have some volunteers to come up to the front and retell the story for us. About 10 minutes about the class ended, we did a Christmas song dictation. The song lyric is as the followings with the ryhme of "Santa Claus is coming to town." The song will be posted on my school website - Chinese Song.


For 3rd Period, we learned and reviewed the words: 覺得、好笑、不好笑、開玩笑、大聲。We used the small whiteboard activities to review the words and do a quick informal assessment. After that we acted out a story about Adma Sandler. After that we worked on calendar package. We didn't finish the package but the 1st 2 pages.

想xiǎng 要yào = would like to

認rèn 識shí = (get to) know

告gào 訴sù  = tell

請qǐng = please, invite, ask,

地dì 道dào = authentic

飛fēi 機jī 場chǎng = airport

....的de 時shí 候hòu = When...

不bù 好hǎo 意yì 思sī= I'm sorry
