給 = give

lǎo shī gěi       mǎ kè bǐ

老 師  給Jade馬克筆。= The teacher gave Jade a marker.

bǎ   gěi

把...給...= give...to...

lǎo shī bǎ mǎ kè bǐ gěi

老  師 把馬 克筆 給Jade。= The teacher gave a marker to Jade.

fàng zài

放  在 = (be)put ... on...

mǎ kè bǐ fàng zài zhuō zǐ shàng

馬 克筆  放 在  桌 子  上。 = A marker is on the table.

bǎ   fàng zài

把...  放 在…= put ... on...

lǎo shī bǎ mǎ kè bǐ fàng zài zhuō zǐ shàng

老 師  把馬 克筆  放 在  桌 子  上。= The teacher put the marker on the table.

在我們學習和練習完新字後
After we learned an practiced these new words,

we used the app BetterChinese in the ipad to learn Chinese.

we used Ipad and practice Chinese greetings at BetterChinese app.

十月四日星期四 October 4, Thursday - A Day

今天在學校七年級生有CTE的集會
There was an assembly for 7th graders with CTE class.
因為有一些七年級的學生不在
Due to it nearly half my students were gone for the assembly,
沒有辦法進行新的課程
so we didn't learn the new words this morning for 1st and 2nd periods.
今天我們一邊做了找字遊戲一邊看哆啦A夢的中文影片
Today we did the word search and at the same time watched the Chinese movie named Do La A Meng.

中文二和中文三的學生我們今天除了上五個新單字外

For Chinese Level II & III besides we learned 5 new words,

天tiān 空kōng = sky

飛fēi 不bù 起qǐ 來lái = cannot fly (up/high)

不bú 會huì 飛fēi = unable to fly/don't know how to fly

羨xiàn 慕mù = be jealous (good will)

忌jì 妒dù = be jealous (mean/bad will)/ envy

崇chóng 拜bài = worship/admire

中文學生設定平板電腦的手寫鍵盤並下載Discovering Chinese, Pleco,和iwrite eLite等應用程式

Our students help set up ipad's handwriting for keyboard and download some apps such as Discoverying Chinese, Pleco, and iwrite eLite.

在完成下載之前學生利用筆記程式練習手寫中文

While waiting the downloads, students used apps of notes and handwriting to practice writing Chinese.

他們也利用手寫中文和Pleco線上字典練習查單字

They also practice Pleco to look up the words.

For Chinese Level students, we quickly learned the following words and the number from 1-20

歲 = ...years old

幾歲 = how old?
nián jí
年級 = grade
jǐ nián jí
幾年級 = what grade?

小xiǎo 鴨yā = little duck

決jué 定dìng  = decide

傷shāng 心xīn = sad

離lí 開kāi = leave
