Chinese Level II & III December 17, 2014 Wednesday,

We did the quiz first. and then do the new words. Afterwards we did the STAMP practice test as a whole. We read the story and then students draw a picture to identify the thief. Later they wrote a description to identify the thief they saw (to respond the question on STAMP test.)

Chinese Level I December 9 & 10, 2014 Tuesday & Wednesday

We quizzed and learned the new words. We played stand-up and shout aloud game. After that, the teacher acted out a story and students tried to figure out what it was about. At least 80% of students comprehend at least 80% of the story. Later we used TPRStorytelling circling questions to talk about the story. Each student was given 4 pictures and they had to arrange the pictures in order according to what they heard from the teacher. After several times, students were pair up to tell the story in Chinese to their partner.
